Linclon City and Pacific City

Lets start out by saying that this trip did not turn out as planned.  We first attempted to find Drift Creek Falls but one little problem, the road to the trail head was a logging road (still in use) and the Dodge Charger can not  make it up a dirt road.  Due to the fact we had the wrong vehicle and did not want to be the family on the news reported as Lost Hikers Found Dead on Drift Creek Falls we decided not to attempt this hike today.

After the failed attempt of  Drift Creek Falls we migrated over to Roads Ends Beach (Lincoln City) but of course  mother nature decided to make it shower.  Due to the severeness of the rain I was only able to photograph the two pictures below...... (continues below pictures)

The hidden beach below is accessible only during low tides.  Be careful you could get stuck here during high tide, if this happens, you will be the one on the news.

......then suddenly my head felt like it was going to explode into a million pieces that's right a Migraine.... An hour later with the help of my wife going to the store to pick up medication I felt better then ever and we decided to explore the area and ended up in Pacific City..... We attempted to photograph Pacific City but the weather not cooperating....got to love Oregon's weather. 


Migraine, weather, dirt roads aside will not discourage us, we are returning on June 25 to explore Pacific City and and it's surroundings......see you then.
