The Mystery Stone House

The Mystery Stone House
The Stone House is simply the rocky remnants of an old house. The Charm of the house is the mystery that surrounds’ it.  Who lived here? What happened to the occupants? Where did their possessions go?  Did they have children if there is a “they”?  As I look around I notice the only things that remain are stone walls, a fireplace, remarkably still in intake.  The roof no longer attached and for the floor all that remains is nothing but a dirt floor.  I wonder who lived here, why did they go?  This sure is a mystery waiting to be told.

Fresno Family

This is not the final draft i accidentally post it:  Stay tune for the final draft.  Enjoy the pictures for know and ignore the writing.

My trip down to Fresno, CA….The very first day was exciting and sad at the same time.  Leaving my family behind in Portland, Oregon was not as easy and I thought it would be.  Leaving my family behind was a sad day…the moment I got on the plane I started to tear up and I don’t even know why.  I normally don’t get emotional but his one day I did.

On the plane.... This is my first plane trip ever, never flown before.  At first everything was going ok until I accidentally set in someone else’s seat and the individual let me know that.  A few moments later I found my assigned seat and stayed.  The flight in general was not as scary as I thought.

In Fresno.... When I arrived i proceeded to Angie's  apartment and stayed a few night with my Nephew Kevin Perez, Niece, Andrea Perez her friend and had a good time.

A couple days later.... My Brother Leo Perez, his kids and soon to be step-daughter Hailey decided to go and feed the ducks and I actually had fun feeding the ducks.

The not so fun??....Angie and Andrea decided to go clothes shopping and they asked me to tag along and I did.  Guys if you ever been cloth shopping with females...then you feel my pain, enough said.

The end.....On Saturday evening I stayed at my brothers house with Kevin, Andrea, Leo's girlfriend and her daughter and had a good time.

The sad day.....On the day i had to leave i was stricken with sadness.

Lost Lake

You can find the soul Of Mount Hood's beauty and Wild Life at Lost Lake. Photographers praise Lost Lake for its unbelievable vistas while others such as "Birders" and "Twichers" gather to see high elevation birds pass by and of course the natural history-lovers relax in old growth forest and wild flowers.

In addition to the above Lost Lake is home to critters such as Newts and Salamanders that depends on the old-growth forest then theirs the cavity-nesting birds, mammals like pine martens and native bats. The high elevation and diverse habitats provide both excellent wildlife habitat and viewing opportunities.

The scenic loop around Lost Lake is Perhaps the best family hike for young children.  The route is nearly level while some areas you will encountered rocks, roots and some hazards. There are numerous places along the trail were you could soak your tiresome feet, take a swim or perhaps try catching a Newt or a Salamander.  Better yet, there are excellent camp-sites at the lake, though in high demand during the summer months and camp-sites are on first come basis. On a finale note you could rent paddler boats, aluminium boats and canoes or bring your own.

Notes:
 * No motorized boats allowed at all.
 * There is a $7.00 per vehicle fee.
